Find Ancestors

Can anybody help me please ?
I am trying to trace my family history and know that the family lived in and around Walford nr Ross on Wye probably from about 1820 till 1914. Several members of the family later moved to Cardiff. If you have any informatin about where they lived, employment or where they are buried it would be most welcome. I can provide names and dates of birth/death for the relatives i know that existed if this helps.

Already i have more information than i knew before. I can now go back i generation further.
What would be useful to know would be the date of birth for Hannah Edwards and the full name of the son Thomas E. born c.1842 ?
Also is it possible to find out where James Bailey b.1839 d 1925 and Thomas E. b1842 d 1914 are buried ? They were both living at Marks Well Cottage upto the time of there deaths.
I have now most of the basic information i was looking for.

Contact the Church or cemetery nearest to the location of their deaths

You may find a baptism on the IGI

Try looking for Thomas's birth on the freebmd site........or, if he married, the marriage record.

His second name will be recorded in full on whichever record you are able to trace

If his birth wasn't registered, and he didn't marry, his full name will be on the death cert, obtainable from the GRO for £9.25

An educated guess would be that his second name was Edward(s)

There is a GR member by the name of Victor, who kindly offers to do NBI lookups.
