I am looking for 1901 census of Bertha Stevens born 1882, Barnet. Should have a child with her named Harry Stevens born c1900 Islington. Her husband was Henry Stevens born c1879.

hi glitterbaby, that 1901 census for her looks like them although why her husband is Harry instead of Henry im not sure.

the 1891 census im also sure it looks like them i had scribbled on a piece of paper her mothers name was Charlotte but not sure where i found that out from.

I have a few certificates on order so hopefully will be able to confirm these soon.

Would you mind sending me the census images for those 2? If not ill have to wait until i get to the library.

Gwyn thanks for the info, now im confused though (it dont take a lot nowadays)
According to the Baptism records you posted Henry William Steven was born abt 1904 (on 1911 and 1901 census he was born 1900) and Maude Ethel Stevens is down as born 1902 when she wasnt born until abt 1903 according to 1911 census?? Where im confused is Henry is supposed to be eldest but wuld appear not? and where 1911 census said Maud was born 1903 the baptism is in 1902 before Henrys even???

Glitterbaby, i am on ancestry but my sub ran out about 2 months ago and according to my nasty hubby i have to wait until my birthday for my new sub which isnt until August, however im working on it i do try to go to my library and use theres but because our library limits you to 30 mins on the computer then rudely boots you off and there computers are so slow it takes nearly that to just load up the screen.
Whats the probate calender? Never come across that before i dont think?

Sometimes the baptism records give a date of birth in the margin but unfortunately does not for Henry. It really depended on what info the Vicar wanted to put down or what the parents were asked.

how do i send for a copy of the will, the person notifying on there is her daughter Eunice.
Why would i have not come across these before, ive been doing family history for 10 years, lol
