that birthplace could be Quebec GB

Anyone remember being taught to write the capital letter Q looking rather like the figure 2?

The enumerator did seem to like ornate letters

lancashireann yes elizabeth alice bertha was born canada as her father was a seaman and based in canada then came home had more children and my grandad being one of then born 1886

what puzzles me is why she should sign as a witness on that 1909 marriage as Rogers when she had been married for 8 years as Donougher. Could the witness have been the 2nd Elizabeth Alice Bertha born in 1896?
