Hi, I haven't got much to go, my father Anthony Munro Watt and his siblings, David, Maureen and Shirley had a father Barry Richard Watt who Married Norah Holmes in 1948. Barry's father was named Frazer Munro Watt, who was a mechanical engineer. I believe Frazer to be Scottish (Munro Watt) he married Ivy May Fahey.This is all I have to go on, as my family have sadly deceased, which has made me want to do a family tree!

I found the above info on Ancestry.

For Scotland records you need the "Scotlands People" site. You need to buy credits to be able to view the records.

According to the 1911 census, John and Honora had been married for 7 years. I am not seeing an appropriate marriage that fits with that!

Looking at the image of the 1911 census, John Fahey was born in Bath IRELAND.


Maybe they married in Ireland?

According to a tree on Ancestry, the Mother of Richard Watt is Madeline Greenshields.

Richard's son William G Watt..........is apparently....William Greenshields Watt.

Sorry, I'm a little confused! Richard and Margaret had Fraser, Rose, William and Fraser.
But this Magadlene had Richard with Richard and then William and Magdaline got together is that how you read it?

The Scottish Census data for the Watt family provided by PricklyHolly will be correct.
You mentioned Frazer Munro Watt.

The 1891 and 1901 returns refer to Richard Watt and Margret MUNRO who married in St George, Midlothian in 1884.
It would be advisable to obtain the marriage cert from Scotlands People to confirm, but it looks like Richard was born in Edinburgh 4 Mar 1860.
Parents: William Watt and Magdalena Greenshield who married in Edinburgh 4 Jun 1854.... which also concurs with the earlier census data.

The births of their children can be found in family search
