Hi Eringobrah,
Richard Stevenson Talbot b.1839 Phibsborough, Dublin, Ireland
I'm try to look for his parents (John & Lucinda) I cannot find a marriage in either UK or Ireland, maybe they weren't married. One kind researcher has found death info for Lucinda.
tks Sue

Sue..Although some of the children were born and baptised in Dublin I would be looking for others especially between Lucinda Jane and Edward also you dont know for certain RST was the first born...therefore that is an avenue to persue..

As I mentioned previously it may not follow John and Lucinda were born/wed in Dublin...
Although John was a Policeman he may have been in the Dublin Met.or the RIC (if the latter they were not usually based in their "Home Area")
Unfortunately the time frame you are searching is difficult and more especially if the family did not originate from Dublin...which is where you are consentrating on

Many thanks to you all for the info. I don't know how to link this enquiry and the new one for John Talbot b.Drumcree, Westmeath 20 Sept 12. the info you provided is marvelous. We do seem to have two Marys married to Richard S Talbot. The first was Mary Connor b. Dublin & 2nd was Mary from Plymouth. We can't find a death listing for the 1st Mrs M Talbot. I have recently been told Richard, a policeman, had committed some misdemeanor and was sent to work on the Plymouth docks as punishment. So maybe the Plymouth Mary info is true.
Thanks again. Sue
