Thank you so much for all your help, it has been amazing.

Glitterbaby and Patchem, the cenus you have found is right, the ninth child was Emily. I believe that she moved out before this cenus was done. I know her husband was Alfred Reader, and i believe that she married him and moved out. She would have been the eldest girl.

Does anyone have these people in their tree?

You really need the marriage cert for the name and occupation of her father. Witnessess are also useful
