I'm still sneaking back here between cooking things. Thanks for that, Gins. I'll have a close look later but, on first glance, there are mistakes in that tree - e.g. someone I know was born in Scotland is down as being born in Lincolnshire. I have their certs from Scotland's People. I'll come back to this later. |

Thanks, Margee, that's cleared that up. I think I'm getting a bit carried away now. Time for tea. |

Rose Uebner must be a different person. She's married to Henry Uebner on the 1920 census and is on the US city directories with Henry from 1924-1956 in California. |

Just a coincidence then but they seem to have the same date of birth and in the same place too. |

I think that is a different Rose? |

Now, using the link Margee put here, I've found the death of a Rose Uebner, born in Ohio on 21 October 1895 and died in Alameda in 1974, aged 78. Surely, she didn't marry again. I can't find the death of a Rose Crombine. |

And here on her third marriage, she claims never to have had previous marriages and husband Starney is dead!!! |

Now, if he was divorced, I wonder if the one William was from his first marriage. I can't think they would have had two of them alive at the same time. |
