you may have to get her marriage cert for its info on her fathers name

a witness too could be family so may help pinpoint her

Sidami I posted the Florrie Smith entry born 1894 because I can't see one with an Alfred. There's a lot of Alfred Smiths and he might not be away from home.

There's also the possibility that Alfred might have died before 1939.

As her grandson was able to give you her DOB, perhaps he has access to her birth or marriage certificate.

This Florrie in 1939, has only year of birth

So is possibly this one born late 94 reg 1895
