I am looking for the marriage of the above to possibly Robert Littlefair between 1835 to 1842. Elizabeth born 1817 high Coniscliffe, Co Durham parents Thomas and Mary. I am making assumptions based on the following census returns for 1851, 1861 and 1871

1851 census Darlington

Robert Littlefair 42 tailor Witton le Wear
Elizabeth 34 high coniscliffe
Margaret daughter 9 Edinburgh

1861 census South Shields holy Trinity Darlington

Robert Littlefair 50 grocer Witton le Wear
Elizabeth 44 high coniscliffe
Margaret 19 daughter Scotland

1871 census South Shields holy Trinity Darlington

Robert Littlefair 61 retired tailor Witton le Wear
Elizabeth 54 high coniscliffe

I cannot find them on the 1841 census but you will see that Margaret was born in Scotland. All the above off family search.

Thank you

Janet from 1841 census died in 1843 so Margaret was possibly her child.

hello both, looks like it could be Elizabeths burial as Alwent Mill is where other Races were baptised. The Robert connection was just guesswork on my part. Thank you both for looking.
