Find Ancestors

Bill was my grandfather but we don;t know much about his family, his fathers side. He was born in 1916 in August but his mum remarried and when alive could not remember much about his real father. They lived in Islington, London so I'm guessing they came from the area although farve (my gransfather Bill) looked like he was from Italian/Spanish descent, with colouring etc. Any help would be great, thank you in advance. :-)

Do you know why his Mother remarried - divorce (not often in that era), WW1 death, non military death? Might help find some records

Was her husband about the same age as her do you know or a difference in ages

His birth certificate would confirm parents names and then their marriage certificate would give ages, occupations and Name & occupation of Father's

I don't see any likely death on CWGC website.

Thank you all for your responses, Brockwell is known to us and I'd previously been in contact with that side but it's the Tuckers I am struggling to locate. Not much is known to be honest and I've no idea why they separated or if he passed away. Thank you all for your support Kaz x
