hi i think i found the right person in the 1881 but want someone to check image as name of supposed wife unusual and not sure if states wife if you understand info is William Bradford born 1840 area oakthorpe other household members Desamer Bradford 33 Sam T. You should really work the other way - from the present time backover. Is he a relative of one of your direct ancestors? Where was he on the 1841 and 1851 census? Kath. x

no only info from 1841 when he was a baby and 1851 not any later i dont have access

In that case you really need to work backwards from your husband and find his parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on so that you find the family together and you know which William is yours, (because you will hopefully find him with siblings). Are you certain you have the right one in the earlier census if there are two born in the same place? Kath. x

yes i have done that and am trying to find william with his wife and family i think it could be with desamer in the initial querie i wrote as there is william in 1891 with a decima as wife same place and date of birth but i just cant access the info

Edith WAS a Stepdaughter. The marriage should be somewhere between Edith being born (about 1870/71) and Sarah being born (about 1873/74). Kath. x
