I have my Grandmothers birth certificate, her name is Mildred Ann Gibson born 6th May 1912 in Mansfield Nottinghamshire to John Gibson (a colliery hewer) and Hannah Gibson (nee McHugh). I thought i had found their marriage certificate, listed as 1907 Quarter Jan-Feb-Mar Mansfield Nottinghamshire volume 7b page 151 so i applied for the certificate but was told that this wasn't the right one by the records office. I can't find any other records for a john gibson and hannah mchugh that match and cant see any way for solving this. My grandmother had a sister named Mary and a brother named Jim Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Sue

	Susan I have checked the full index on Ancestry and you have the correct number for John Gibson & Hannah Mchugh 7b-151, have you ordered it from the GRO or the local registry office in Mansfield because the number you found is only for the GRO? Georgina.
