Find Ancestors

Ok in regards to the address where norah was in 1968 is i believe 15 decima street bermondsey or 27 weston place. I am working with someone else tracing this family and other bits so different bits is from me and others from her. My main concern is Norah Burton whom married my ggf James Pickett in 1917 and finding out as much info on Norah as possible such as children which so far i have been helped with 1 and on from there to maybe finding living relatives that may know certain things i am trying to find. Its a very complicated family.

Can´t see anything obvious - think you will have to get one of the children´s birth certificates which will then give you mothers maiden name - will make the search easier!

Where was she living in 1968 when you last had an address for her? I have found this reference for a death, but the midle name is different from the birth I found:- Norah Edith Pickett, date of birth given as 22 Dec 1898 Death June qtr. 1969, St. Marylebone, 5d, 1974 Kath. x I'm off out for lunch now - will check back later.

yes this would appear correct cenus info as on norah's 2nd marriage cert father deceased and states occ leather furnisher so not far off thanks alot any luck with the cenus before at all? Thanks to you all

Do you have the fathers occupation from the 2nd marriage - does occupation match with 1901 census?

Yes i might do that thanks for help etc. Any luck with cenus anyone. Not sure if anyone can help with norahs death? I have managed to trace her at an address until 1968 so believe she died in this year although her name would of been Norah Pickett then.

You should really give your full name on a marriage certificate, but certificates are only as accurate as the person giving the information. It could still be her, or it might not be. Since you know her father's name you could order the certificate and give his name as a checking point. Kath. x

i did expect her birth to be around 1887 there is no middle name stated on her 2nd marriage cert was it compulsary to state this?

sorry forgot to state date then computer crashed! Yes 1901 or the one before. Im not sure on norah burtons birth year as i havent found her birth index as yet however she married in 1912 then remarried 1917 and had a child 1913.
