Hi Kate From your posting earlier, if he was approx 67 when he died in 1907, he would have been born around 1840. (Thomas Henry Y I mean) |

hiya, is easy when you know how/where to look, regarding marriage, i would begin at 1905, as this is when you have cert from, and then work backwards, year by year, good luck dont think you'll be able to find it anywhere else but on ancestry, as this is the complete index, and people on here sometimes use freebmd which isnt complete, yet julie |

A search on Family Relatives shows these marriages for an Emily Goldsmith between 1901 and 1905 1 Goldsmith Emily Ashby De La Zouch.7a 185 Marriage 4 1902 2 Goldsmith Emily Ethel Bedford.3b 663 Marriage 3 1905 3 Goldsmith Emily Forehoe.4b 345 Marriage 2 1902 4 Goldsmith Emily Uckfield.2b 267 Marriage 3 1904 5 Goldsmith Emily Uckfield.2b 260 Marriage 3 1901 6 Goldsmith Emily Elizabeth Woolwich.1d 1779 Marriage 2 1902 AND NONE OF THESE ARE TO AN EATON OR YAPP I believe the indexes are fully transcribed on Family Relatives for this period so it doesn´t look as if they married between those dates. Are you sure that her first name is Emily. |

yes her name was Emily, I have a life saving medal she won...inscribed Emily A Goldsmith! ....maybe she used her middle name..? Would it be easy to check for an Alice Goldsmith? Back soo got to collect son number 3 from his mates! Kate |
