Thanks. It does seem like that can't be her....although the children are called Aston - so who knows! I wonder if that Ann turns up in 1861 so she can be eliminated from my enquiry? Thanks again - you're a star! |

Great stuff! Thanks. Just to push my luck one last time, could you see if anything comes up for Ann Booth b 1816 Clunn, Shropshire in 1851 or 41? I promise I'll leave you in peace then! Thanks very much for your help. |

They're an interesting bunch! Seem quite poor and then Walter makes a bit of money and by 1901 they're in a plush new house with a servant (where my grandad was born). |

If it's not a pain, could you perhaps see if you can find George in 1851 and/or 1861 please? I guess he'll be in Brum or part of Shropshire. Thanks (and apologies for the request!). |

I haven't got round to ordering certificates for her at the moment. Just become aware of her and was trying to find out what I could. She, I think, married a George Cadwallader (b c1843 in Ludlow) who died in 1869 in Leicester. She didn't seem to have much luck..... |

Do you have her marriage cert? If so what does it record under fathers name and occupation? |
