Hi All If anyone needs any information looking up in Stafford Archives I am willing to do this. I go to Stafford every Tuesday - so there wouldn't be a long wait for the results. I wouldn't be able to do blankets searches but looking up specific information no problem at all. Pam Stoke on Trent Just adding to let you all know that I am still doing the look ups and anyone waiting to hear from me don't worry I am still working on them. Pam. |

Hi Pam, Thank you for such a generous offer. I have found a marriage on the LDS site( and also on a Wolverhampton archives site) and would be very grateful if you could help me find our some more info on the Groom. The marriage took place on 8 April 1790 at Wolverhampton (St Giles) between George Reeves and Sarah Aston. Sarah came from Bushbury and was born c1766...but i can't find anything else on George (and , of course, he's the one i really want!!) I don't know if the microfiche gives more details...a fathers name perhaps, or a place of birth even...but i would be very grateful for ANY help you can give. Many thanks, Karen |

Hi Pamela Don't know if you'll have much luck with this, but would appreciate your trying please. Looking for info on Job Wool(l)ey bc 1828 in Bilston (father possibly John). Job's first child was born 1849 in Darlaston, so I'm guessing he may have married there in 1848/49 - spouse's name was Ann. Not much to go on I'm afraid - I couldn't find the marriage on 1837online. Thanks very much. Davina |

Pam My geography for this area is dodgy! Longnor seems to be on the border with Derbyshire and I've been led to believe that Longnor Chapelry might fall into Staffs? If so I've lost my x3 grt gran HANNAH RICHARDSON born Longnor c1800/1803 ish. She married later in Mayfield - those records I've got waiting for me in my LDS centre for today! Any advice on Longnor Chapelry also appreciated. Thanks Jan |
