	Thanks Suzanne for your imput, will check on that. Thanks Paul, that is indeed Frederick Mardon, looks as though Frederick may have been some kind of relative of Nellie Morton and that is why he took on her child, seeing as he wasn't always living in Exeter. Or just crossed my mind, was he Irene's birth father?
