I've got the picture, i've got the picture ner ner ner ner ner ancestry has just gone plop again by the way, so thats probaly why!

was that the horse and cart that was taking my Daniel Tomlin to deliver his corn when it apppeared back without him, having flung him in the pond on Boxmoor whereupon he drowned...

You could be on to something there Dancer/Jess, its the pet cat called Stanley that rings a bell, although I aways thought it was a stuffed ferret called Arthur, could be a mistranscription though, or I could be barking up the wrong TREE! pmsl

Lady Liberty, I think we may have a connection on our tree ! ...... mine was born 1851 and had peeling green paint with an old letter box ...... but did you not know about the ornate knocker made from brass ?? I have a picture if you want to swap details. Jess, the cat was Stanley .... but he was run over by the horse and cart that was taking his master to the pub that night .... can't you remember ? By the way Jess he was born c1851, had dark brown hair and green eyes, his front door was a peeling green with old letter box..... pmsl
