Hi Ann Thank you very much for the offer. Hopefully your records go up this far, as I would love you to look something up for me. I know that William ALDRIDGE married Sarah WARNER on 14 August 1812 in Walkern. I was wondering if there are any parents names or professions mentioned, or if it states whether they are of this parish or from elsewhere. Thank you so much Lisa xx

Hi Ann Thank you so much for that. I didn't know William Aldridge was from Watton, I have it that he was born in Graveley! Maybe they moved there after. I do have him living there on the 1861 census though. Ann Warner is one of mine also. Yes indeed, any info you can find about these two names in these parishes would be absolutely great, although there are an awful lot of Warners in Walkern! I have two branches of them in my tree, and all from Walkern. Could I ask you to look up any Aldridge marriages in Graveley too if there are any. (If it is not too much!) Thank you so much Lisa xx

Thanks Ann. I have only got back as far as a marriage in Weston in 1794 of a William Kent of Sheppall to an Ann Tyler so I was hoping the other Sheppall marriages would give me some clues as I can't find a birth of a William Kent in Sheppall. I see that Watton is not that far away from Sheppall so I'm sure they will all connect when I get back a bit further. Thanks very much I will file them away for future reference. Lyla

Hi Ann If there is any mention of a James WARD marrying a Mary _____ in Hertford - possibly Berkhampstead - I'd be grateful - this would be early 1800s. I'm also after John WAREHAM and Susan(nah) __________ - possible Bengeo - but I'm not sure of place - about 1790 - I think their first child was born 1791 and I'm hoping they were one of the more respectable couples in my history and married a year or so BEFORE he was born! Please don't spend hours looking - especially Ward as it's a common enough name! Fingers crossed. Jill
