I'm going to spend a day there at the end of next week. I have a fair bit to do for myself but feel free to post if you want anything checking out. First come first served and if my time starts to run out, I WILL tackle the easy ones first! Lou UPDATE THURS: Woke yesterday with a stinking cold, streaming eyes, blocked nose, the lot. I'll see how I feel tomorrow but if I'm not any better, it will be next Thurs before I get there as I can only go when the little ones are in nursery. Will try my best to get there this week but don't think I'd be popular sneezing all over the records! Lou

What an offer!! If possible could you get a copy of the marriage entry for Mary Ann Massey to Samuel Bradley on 25th December 1844 in Didsbury. Unfortunately IGI doesn't name the church but I assume it will be the parish church. Thanks. Janice

Hi Cat, thanks for the offer. Would really appreciate a birth look up for: John Jackman born 1856 South Manchester, parents were George ( Engine Driver) & Elizabeth Jackman. I can't find his birth records anywhere on line, so would appreciate the offer. sorry don't know where in manchester he was born, but on 1861 census they were living at what appears to be 63 Trumpet Street in the distric of St. Peter's. John was 1 of 7 children. Thanks again, & good hunting yourself. Regards, Lou

**Julie Webb** Manchester doesn't hold the records for Liverpool marriages. You need a look up at Liverpool RO **Gail* Ditto the above, Clayton le Moors records are held at Accrington Library **Cheryl Ann** Ditto the above, yours are held at the Civic Centre, Bolton **Susan Davies** Can you be more specific? What exactly are you hoping to find? The only way to find more information on the family would be to locate them on the earlier census **Lib** No elec rolls done during the war years so afraid nothing is available for 1942 Lou

**Looby Lou** I'll do my best but St Peters district is Deansgate, right in the centre of Manchester, so he could have been baptised at any of about 20 churches so am not promising......! Lou

Hi Lou Yes please! Thank you for the kind offer. If you have time could you please check for the marriage of James SHUFFLEBOTHAM and Jane THOMPSON on 16 October 1827 at Manchester Cathedral? Also the christening of their son Thomas Thompson SHUFFLEBOTHAM on 12 September 1830 at the Cathedral. (Both records from IGI.) No need for copies or anything but if you could check to see if there are any additional details, that would be great! Thank you and God bless you, Lynne x

Hi Lou, If you have time, I'd appreciated a look-up for a marriage Dec quarter 1902. Chorlton. In free BMD there are two female names listed, Sarah Fearnley and Clara Nixon Gaskell, his name was Hugh Paterson. I'm also after his parents names, which hopefully should be Thomas and Euphemia. TIA Liz
