Hi Karin, Many thanks for your kind offer. I am trying to find Samuel Rolls (may be spelt Roles/Rolles/Rols/Rools), and in particular his daughter Elizabeth Rose. She was my great great grandmother and according to later censuses was born in Frampton, Dorset. The ages she gives on the censuses varies each time, so going by her marriage certificate (where she states her fathers name as Samuel), she would have been born between 1846 and 1849. Many thanks! Julie

Hello Karin, About 1800 my DAWSON family were living in and around Sturminster two of the brothers left for the Isle of wight and I wonder if the others stayed in Dorset or not? If you could have a look I would be very grateful: Mary Ann Dawson born 1808 Broadway,Dorset would be 43 in 1851. Samuel Dawson born 1788 Okeford Fitzpaine would be 63. William Dawson born 1794 Okeford Fitzpaine would be 57. Henry Dawson born 1797 Okeford Fitzpaine would be 54. Edwin Dawson born 1805 Okeford Fitzpaine would be 46. Any info would be fantastic. Many thanks in advance for your time Jenny

Hi Karin, Many thanks for your offer. Would it be possible for you to see if you could locate these families in Stinsford, or it's possible that they could be under Lower Bockhampton or Dorchester. Levi and Jane Russell. Robert and Elizabeth Russell. Once again, many thanks, Kaye.

Hi Karen Are you still doing Dorset Look-Ups? I am trying to find an Alfred Male. He was born abt 1820 in Somerset - later census years gives different places, but in 1871 he gives Bridport as his place of birth. His wife, Mary Jane Fox is from Cerne Abbott. Am hoping he is around somewhere. Sue

Hi Karin The most obvious place would be Cerne Abbott I guess - am hoping he was living/working there when he met his future wife..... but with my luck, he could be anywhere. lol Sue
