Could you check for Mary Bromley born around 1860 so she should be about 11 in the 1871 ancestry in Staffs, silverdale. Also a Sarah Shaw born around 1880, in liverpool,uk, married to a James Gardner who was born around 1880 too. Also from Liverpool. |

Hi Julie, Thanks for the offer. Please would it be possible for you to do a lookup for Charles Pratt Maria Pratt Wife. The only information I have is that they were married in Isleworth or Heston, Middlesex in 1824. Their children were baptised in Isleworth. It's a long shot, I know but any info would be much appreciated. Ann |

They are COUSSENS originally from Hastings but living in Rye High Street, East Sussex during 1881 census. Hi Julie Thank you for your V kind offer! Any info would be helpful :) ...... Alfred Lowden bn c.1898, his mother had him out of wedlock and so he took her surname. Born in Portsmouth. Sorry this is all I have so it's proving very difficult! George Gladdiss c.1860, born Brading IOW, could you please look on '71 and '91 for his parents names please it's possible they were born in IOW or Ireland but should be living IOW. Edwin Paramore c.1859 born in Rotherham could you please confirm he was married to Caroline in 1891 and then look for him on 1871? Fingers crossed :) Sarah x |

Hi Julie Many thanks for the kind offer. May I request a look-up for Worcestershire 1871? Could be Kings Norton (Balsall Heath) area. Thomas Wright, iron caster, with wife (possibly Elizabeth) also son Thomas age 17, iron caster, and probably other children. Sorry I don't have a definite address, but the son Thomas aged 17 is my brickwall. He gave his address on marriage in 1873 as New Bond St, but that is in Birmingham, and I haven't been able to find family on Warwickshire 1871 census. Many thanks for your help. Barbara |
