hi joyce .yes please ! rosemary groves has just let me know that my gr x 3 grandma was still alive in 1871. had a look where she was on census in 1861- no sign of her. she was elizabeth booth, would be about 87 in 1871, should be in the drighlington / bradford area. many thanks, sue.ps just wondered are you joyce knight- the maiden name thing throws me !]

Joyce, Looking for the birth of William Hay(es). There will be alot of them. Mine would be born in Lancs, c1801, possibly intheLancaster area or possibly Warrington.
