I am currently looking for relatives of my partner Thomas Gibb.
He is one of 6 children of Ann Fagan & John Gibb of Liverpool Merseyside.
Ann's mother was Honora Fagan.
Unfortunately this is all the information he has regarding this.

I am searching in the dark here as far as dates are concerned. My partner's knowledge about past relatives is very vague to say the least.
I will be asking his sisters when I see them if they know more facts, however Honora had two daughters Joan Fagan and Ann(e) Fagan.
I have very limited knowledge of the Liverpool area to be honest and I'm new to this addictive family tree lark! lol

If you had any dates or age we could trace her birth.

Presumably he knows his siblings details.

Even Thomas dob would be a start.

Their father was John Gibb who born c1937

My partner lived in Bootle as a child and different spellings of the mother's names sound so similar.
I haven't a clue as far as the Francis Fagan is concerned but they could be connected somehow.

Has anyone got any idea about a John Gibb who married Ann Fagan and was born around 1937.
This man was my partners father, he was born as far as we know in Liverpool. No idea about his parents though or when he married Ann

The marriage between Ann Fagan and John W Gibbs was apr qtr 1965 Liverpool S ref; 100 787.
You may have to get this cert to find the fathers' names of these,
I'll have a quick look and see if I can find Johns' birth.

I have just spoken to Tommy on the phone and he has confirmed (after my mentioning the name Bruffell) that this was in fact a name mentioned in his past. A Frank or Frankie Bruffell was a member of his family, possibly a brother of Ann Fagan's mother. There is also a Speke connection as far as area's are concerned.

I've looked from 1933 to 1943 and cant find a definate birth, but there are the following quarters missing;
oct 1937
jan 1939
apr 1940
apr 1941.
Do you know when he died..that is if he did?

The birth does show Rowlinson but I think this marriage looks good.
