I can do lookups for National Roll of the Great War for Birmingham – Shortly after World war One the National Publishing Company Produced this book giving brief biographical details of soldiers (but NOT their service number).

There are thousands of men, you never know yours may be there.

It does not give first names only their initials.

Not every Birmingham Soldier is on it, but I am willing to look for you

And there are possible mistakes as quoted below - Private Price on the Commonwealth War Graves died in 1916 not 1917.

This for instance is my grandfathers brother……..

Price, G. A. Private – Duke of Wellington’s – (West Riding Regiment)
Volunteering in 1915, he first saw active service in the Dardanelles, where he took part in much severe fighting. On the evacuation of the Gallipoli Peninsula, he was transferred to the Western front, and after being in action in several important engagements was killed in September 1917, Her was entitled to the 1914 – 1915 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

(His home address is also supplied)

PLEASE NO MASSIVE SEARCHES FOR COMMON NAMES as I have to type this all out.

I also have access to
St George, Birmingham Baptisms 1823 to 1840
All Saints, Hockley 1833 to 1840 and a few years after
Some early Monumental inscriptions for St Laurence – Northfield

VARIOUS BAPTISMS/MARRIAGES/BURIALS for ST CHADS CATHEDRAL RC from 1807 to 1837

But please try and state what you want me to look for i.e Baptism/Marriage/Burial etc and what church
Just ask and I will look

Kindest Regards
Kal

Hi Kaz.

One side of my family were mainly born and bred in Birmingham, But they are mostly Hill's so I won't ask you to look for any of them, but what I would appreciate is if you can find anything on my great great grandmother Emma Lake Hickinbottom 1822ish whose father was Edwin from on her marriage certificate. Also on Edward Wanklin 1824ish whom she married, his father was William

Hope I aint being greedy.
