Think I've found them in 1891 mistrancribed as GOWER. It looks like Gower on the page, but could also look like GOVIER. |

The fact that you can find none of them on the 1891 suggests that there is a transcription error. I've had loads of those and they create havoc. GR is quite good at suggetsing alternative names if you look at your front page and type in rose's details it will give you somne clues and then its just a process of elinination! |

I've checked the image for you - usually nothing there but they recorded whether people were blind,deaf and dumb, lunatic or imbecile! |
