I think the 1881 census posted by Jan is the right one for the Florence birth - all 3 of those children were registered in Worsley sub-district - so highly unlikely to be the one you are looking for. |

So is there no concrete reason for thinking that the child on the 1881 census is the one who is distantly connected to your friend, other than the coincidence of her mother's name? |
