An ACTIVE member on Ancestry has a tree on that site. |

As I said on the 16th May when I look at my tree I can see Harry with a purple 1 in the corner but then when I look it says 0 match. Tried another way by searching other members trees and get the same reply. I’ve done all sorts of permutations but still the same result. |

As per previous advice, the cert you need is the MARRIAGE cert..........it will tell you her father's name (if she knew it) |

I did search all members trees and it came up with a 0 even though I tried all permutations. |

Enter his name - Harry Rogerson, and YOB 1916 - into Search All Member Trees, in the drop-down list under "Search" at top right of this page - and you'll find that someone called Paul has him in his tree. |

Paul has replied and given me access to his tree but he doesn’t know why he is connected to the Rogerson’s and a lot of the Rogerson/Wright connection especiallly the Wrights are totally different to what I have. They were my grandmothers relatives and I have lots of certificates, copies of the census, photographs etc. so I know he is wrong. |

If you want to identify the second wife, you NEED either her death cert or the marriage cert. Preferably the marriage cert, as one assumes she knew her father’s name, whereas the person registering her death may not have known her maiden name. |

As you say ErikaH it’s hardly urgent so I’ve put it on hold for the time being. |

Thank you for the new information. I’m going on holiday very soon so I will plough through it when I return. |
