The 1881 always gives the occupation in the transcribed info: Name: Sarrah M. Hi, I googled it, it means splitting the sheeps wool into 'slivers' thin bits - I guess before being used for spinning. |

Hi Catherine It seems they were in the Worsted spinner and weaver aspect of the mills, in 1891 have found them into Cashmere weaving so they have really branched out Sue PS any info on these professions? |
