HI all, have now entered loads onto my FTM, and it is saved on my computer. You just click the icon on the desktop, and don;t even have to 'save' it before closing. But how do I save it onto a memory stick or CD, because on the drop down file menu, there isn;t an option to click save. Thanks |

Hi Tom You export it as a 'Gedcom' file. Click on File -> Export File -> Entire File Then you can choose which drive you want to save it to. Hope this helps (and I hope I'm right lol!). Mandy |

Or, somewhere on your computer you should have a .FTW file. This stands for Family Tree for Windows and this is the file that gets updated every time you close FTM. You can save the gedcom or the FTW - save both if you wish. If you can't find the FTW file do a search for it - go to START/SEARCH Cheers, Horatia |
