Shut down your computer, switch printer off at the wall not at the printer, then restart them both Peter |

Sounds a bit silly Margaret but I did it once myself - did you take the see-through taggy thing off the cartridge before you put it in? Dea |

Hi Dea, Yes I did I just do not know what is wrong it seems as though it is working but nothing comes out, do you you think if i try and unstall the printer and put it back in it might work Margaret |

I am certainly no expert when it comes to computers but if it is going through the motions and the problem only happened since you put the new ink cartridge in - it seems to me that uninstalling + re-installing should not be necessary. It sound as if there is a problem with the cartridge - try taking it out and putting it back in. If you have your old cartridge, try putting that one back in and see if it works with that one. Dea |
