Hello Everyone I have a relative on the Berkshire 1841 Census in Jesus Hospital, Bray. In the Occupation column there is an entry 'I.S'. She is 14. Any suggestions? Steve

Might be FS - meaning female servant. There is also MS = male servant. Anne

Debbie and Anne Many thanks. Seems obvious doesn't it? Well, it was my first question here. Best Wishes Steve
