I find the new tree layout like looking through a keyhole, as opposed to the old one which gives a better overview.

Has anyone got trouble using it I have just been trying to find people who are in my tree I get the list of names and then it just hangs when I click on the particular John I want to go to..It says its transferring data but has been like that for ages. Is it just because alot of people are trying to use it at once I wonder. I am using mozilla rather than internet explorer. Julie I have put this message on no problems so it cant be trouble with the actual site.

Hi Julie I am having problems with the new tree builder as well, and I too use Mozilla. If I press on locator nothing happens, and if I try to add or amend an entry I just get into a loop after pressing Save Details to Tree. But I've just tried using Explorer and can't get into an individual detail page at all, so I don't think it's a Mozilla conflict. I'll report my problem to GR which will doubtless go into their black hole (Support Department) David

The import a GEDCOM function does not appear to work on Mozilla Firefox at all. I think there are some problems with this new tree process, particularly with Firefox. I deleted my tree in order to import a new GEDCOM and tried to import - Firefox went no where so I reverted to IE. This appeared to go all the way and I received a message that I would receive an e-mail when it was processed, 2 weeks no and nothing. Only 1 individual in my tree (me) instead of 1100. Have contacted Support and am waiting. I must have several GEDCOMs in the queue now but no message to say it has been done. Bring back the old process - it worked!!!! Paul in Oz Update: Just received an e-mail that my tree has been updated.
