I have just learnt that some of my relatives joined the 'Peculiar People' of Essex. If you are researching Essex it will interest you. Go to Google - put in -Peculiar People Essex. for a detailed explanation. When you have read it go into the main site :- Which is www(.)burnham(.)org(.)uk it has a wealth of information on Essex. The PP are now called the United Evangelical Churches. I came across the one in Stanway some years ago. I'm sure they would have a large amount of history. David |

Just looked at the site. What the histories do not say is that Banyard was excommunicated by the PP after sending his wife to a doctor. D |
