GENUKI The on-line parish clerks projects provide a focus for the transcription of historical records at parish level.
This concept commenced in Cornwall and has spread to other counties. Volunteers transcribe from fiche / film and upload their findings and / or invite contact from researchers for lookups.

I agree that this is a great resource but I can't access it! For some reason when I click to contact the relevent parish clerk I get a message telling me there's an error and Rundll can't be accessed even though we appear to have it on our computer. Any ideas anyone? The one I'm trying to reach is the Lancashire project Barbara
