Wow Sally , that must have been strange having Nieces & Nephews about the same age...all growing up together..

You must have been a late baby ....at least your Mum lived to a good age at least she saw you grow up ...that's a bonus for you anyway.

Its nearly 8pm time for BGT .....so I'm away for a while & back later maybe Pauline might appear to be a Gnome or Darlik !!

:S

Marilyn.
My oldest niece is only 5 months younger than me. I am a Gr Gr Uncle.

Darcey is 5, she is age 4 in the photo.

Eilidh is her big sister age 7

Mt Grandad was a Shipbuilder and transferred to building the Rail Bridge when the Shipyard owner was looking for skilled men. A great monument that I feel really proud that my family helped to build it.

Maddie,

Had you had a lot to drink ? :-)

Stephen2009

Stephen2009 Report 7 May 2011 20:42

Maddie,

My daughter was a Ballet dancer and both the wee lassies attend Ballet School.

The names were given for no other reason than my daughter and SIL liked them. They do have 'family' middle names though.

Lucky that the railings your Ancestor made were not used for the War effort. So many lovely ornamental railings were pulled out and never replaced.

My second oldest brother was a Blacksmith/Farrier . Many a Clydesdale and other Shire Horses trotted around with his shoes on them.

I have just witnessed a Marmite and Toast Artist on BGT. Amazing.

A wee cahnge of photo.

This is my dear lady and my son Calum on top of 'Schiehallion' which translated means......The Fairy Hill .....very appropriate for this thread just now eh.

It was our Wedding Anniversary that day 8/8/2009. I then treated Lady Stephen to the best ever meal cooked on a Primus Stove.

I know how to treat a lady !!!!!!!!! ROFL ;-)

Nah, honest and true.

There were about 8 Ooompah Loompahs sitting outside a pub in Camden. People were walking past and taking photos. Kids were talking to them. Further up in Camden Lock there were a group of youngsters walking along in bright pink tutus.

Funnily enough, because it is such a bohemian area, no-one takes any notice. lol

I cant watch BGT anymore. I am a little tired of people doing their act because their relative is dying, or they will die themselves if they cant get through.

Bring back Hughie Green.

Tonight folks, Opportunity Knocks.
lol

Maddie, Shelly hasn't lost her cherry............ she's still sitting on it.

You lot can't half talk, I've had to read 3 pages to catch up.

Sally, your mam looked good for 90, she did very well........... something to be proud of.

Marilyn I'm not changing my Avatar, because I made her myself ............ picked her hair and dressed her........ well, I might change her clothes tomorrow with it being Sunday, might put a nice dress on her for church.

Stephen2009 Report 7 May 2011 21:39

Maddie,

I only watch BGT at the early Auditions......at least you get a real good laugh then at some of the totally crap acts. Saying that I don't know how they have the brass neck to do it

It's usually on when I'm relaxing after my tea. I don't really watch telly too much but it is in the room we use most of the time when we are on our own and Lady Stephen likes it.

Just about time for my shower.
