Morning Everyone, I don't know what time I got up this morning, but I thought it must be about 1pm but I just switched on the computer and its only 10.45am.
Mum and I have been having a muck out, getting rid of things we don't want, its surprising how much you collect over the years and how much of it you forget about, Oscars in a mood because we are not giving him all the attention, he has a neglected look on his face.
Have a lovely day everyone, hope your sons OK Pauline, last time I went to the Dentist Stephen about 4 months ago a man was having 21 teeth pulled out, I saw him a week later and he told me that he had his teeth out at 12noon and was eating banana sandwiches with the crusts on by 6pm, he still had no teeth though, I hope he has some now.

Just back from a walk. I had to see the dietician at my Drs, well I have managed to gain weight this month !!! Not the way it is supposed to be going. I need to up the exercise. BUT I am still not steady on my feet so am reluctant to go too far on my own, especially when hubby is at work 25 miles away. Got to work something out though.
Have been reading earlier, got my nose into another book.

Had a request from somebody in Canada for Family tree info so need to check any connections later. I think they are very distant though.

THE FIRST OLYMPICS JOKE



It's 2012 and it's the Olympics in London .

A Scotsman, an Englishman and an Irishman want to get in, but they haven't got tickets.



The Scotsman picks up a manhole cover, tucks it under his arm and walks to the gate.

" McTavish , Scotland " he says, "Discus" and in he walks.



The Englishman picks up a length of scaffolding and slings it over his shoulder.

" Waddington-Smythe , England " he says, "Pole vault" and in he walks.



The Irishman looks around and picks up a roll of barbed wire and tucks it under his arm.




"O'Malley, Ireland " he says, "Fencing."

Stephen maybe you should disconect your phone when you go to bed !! It's horrid when that happens.
Bit brighter here this morning. Going for a walk later with my eldest daughter and her lurcher hound. Then over to see my youngest brother and his family tonight in Windsor.

Mo I'm still knitting. I made some soft toy dolld yesterday and a pair of mittens to go with some bootees too.

Last night I tried to renew all my library books online which I could do except for one because someone had put a reservation on this book and I'll have to read it by Friday! No way so I'm taking it back without having read it. :-0 it was a strange story anyway.
