Breakfast for anyone who wants it, just help yourselves to what you like.
Ceral or fruit,
Bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Hot rolls, toast or waffles. Honey or marmalade.
Tea, coffee or juice.

No sign of Stephen yet?? he must be having a good holiday.

Morning all. It's not bad here, it's sunny and dry at the moment but we'll probably get your awful weather later today.

I have to go out today to get some shopping in - but going for coffee with a friend first.

Marilyn, you're never too old to have your toenails painted, as long as the colour matches what you're wearing. Mine are dark grey at the moment - to match my grey jeans. I try to pick a colour that goes with lots of things so I don't have to change it so often.

Shelly, did you get many strawberries on your plants? We got a really good crop this year, much bigger than usual.

all this time and I finally got on Friendly thread got onto others but not this.
It is pouring of rain infact I went for a swim in the car park this morning when I got up I had to wear a rubber tyre to stop me getting washed down the drain.

I have the Dentist late this afternoon not looking forward to this, as I lost the filling out of the back and front of the tooth.and being on warafrin I dont get an injection poor me ?

Maddie my husband was in Egypt then he was sent to Greece when the uprising of Archbishop Macrious ( know I have not spelt that right ) started. he got shot in the lower leg there,
both my uncles in the Marines were in Italy at the Cassino fighting.

Jean I hope everything goes off well for you.

George dont go out if its raining your zimmer frame will get wet and they are terrible to get dry. get Foggy to take you on water skiers he can tow you along on the back of his car. I love to see that.

I think I will have a cup of coffee now .

bit dimal today, had rain this morning but still grey outside.

I"ve applied for another job, receptionist at the vets surgery up the road. I'll have to do some weekends and evenings.

The weather here is abysmal, I only ventured out to get my hair cut, but was glad to get home in the dry again.

Marilyn B.B is becoming the most boring one to date. I missed it last night as I was out, but feel pretty sure I will be able to catch up with the tedium tonight.

Mo.... you didn't miss a thing last night...just thought Kerry looked awful she has herself go a bit compared to when she went in the house .

Rita I didn't know that if you were on warfarin that you could'nt have injections at the dentist ....my goodness I better not tell my brother that he will never step foot into a dentist again .

pauline the strawberries was very small and to small to eat
so dident do well on them

but the other stuff is not to bad the cucumber are garking size we have had 2 of them and some are still small but growing

punking is doing very well amd one is getting big
runner beans did well only we dont eat them to gave some away to son friend mum

beetroot not to bad daughter pickeled some of them yesterday and stunk the house out

tomatos are doing very well just have to watch little legs as he like to pick them

carrots are on the small side
i have some photos ill have to send you


iv been back up the hospital with son today he has an abnomal elbow
calsed from when he first done his elbow in 4 years ago
now has to have fiseo and have to see what hapends from there
DR has gave me a sick note for when he gos back o shcool he carnt do PE for a month

No you can have injections Marilyn but they have to be extra careful they asked me my last blood count this afternoon and I had an injection as the fillings were very deep. cost me £47 because of the injection and the blood count was OK if the Blood count is too high then I am not allowed to have them means my blood is too thin and can bleed alot.

I always go for British Strawberrie small I prefer them small and not great big ones.

when I was in the dentist I read an OK magazine and they hinted that Kate Middleton and Zara Phillips might be pexpecting a baby next year, someone started thread on it she had seen it on facebrook.like I said on the thread she isnt Kate Middles she is a married women.

The rain has stopped here, I understood it had been very abd in Holland thunder and lightening and heavy rain.
I called in the chemist on my way back from the Dentist to collect my warfarin tablets as I am getting low on them I am suppose to have two blue tablets 5 mg and four boxes of Brown 1 mg they gave me the brown and guess what ? again they have it wrong 1 box of pink tablets. so tomorrow i haveto go back and tell them.

What do they mean about his elbow being abnormal? Is the joint damaged?

Strawberries need lots of water to make them grow big and juicy. I think that's why ours were so much bigger this year............ we had loads of rain. The onions are the same, they need a lot of water, and this year they're bigger than normal. Even the rhubarb was massive. The only disappointment we had was the cherries, we hardly got any this year.

Rita, those big strawberries in the shops are tasteless, ours are lovely.

I don't watch BB, watched it once for about 10 minutes.............. that's all I could stand. I know Yvonne doesn't watch it either......... are we the only 2 that don't like it?
