Thank you Shelly, It must be legal if it doesn't say you can't share your passport.

Ok ! I can take a hint.

Go get your hunks.

I'm gonna find some Pamela Anderson lookalikes.

Legs up tp their armpits.

Ti Ti Ti Tiny little waists.

Flowing blond hair.

Flashing white teeth.

Sparkling eyes.

Sod it .....that's not really my type.

Anyway she probably already has a Grandad.

Think I'll stick with the British variety....much more fun !

Mo in Kent Report 15 Nov 2010 19:17

Stephen, all those bronzed hunks are no good to us, well not me. You will look like the bees knees walking round with all us lot on your arms, you'll be the envy of the whole of the U.S.A. LOL

Rita,

Come with me to Tir-nan-Og.....even just for a wee while.

We never grow old there.

Close your eyes and think of somewhere really lovely, it's better if you can imagine sea, mountains and forests and also the smell from wondeful flowers.

Drift away.......come back refreshed.

One or two grey hairs.

I've only got one or two hairs LOL

It's always a problem deciding how to part them.

didnt come on this today till now been busy trying to catch up on things. replied to emails from cousin in Wales and one in Scotland and my sister and one of my sons. then I did the washing. worked out some queries on some old files.
I have written to my nephew who is in Cambodia at the moment.

started the parcel to send to Oman to my Grandson. it is hard to think what to send as his Mum and Dad and sister send him parcels. so I have brought some little bits playing cards. a travelling Scrabble set. and a DVD " The Tin Traveler.s wife."also some Magazines , pencils and puzzels books I thought I would get him some packets of sweets and chewing gum and Talc and shower gel and foot powder sounds silly really as he is grown up and a soldier but I thought he might get some pleasure out of these things.
any Idea what else I can send. ?

I am off to the hospital tomorrow. so I will have to see how things go from there..
Then Wednesday it is the eye test.
They said the weather will be foggy I hope not ? till I have had these tests done. as I will have trouble getting transport.

Rita,

I used to love getting postcards sent in my parcels also a calendar showing great views.

I would pin the postcards up for all to see. A wee reminder of home.

Send a few in your parcel of areas he would know.

Foot Powder never goes wrong.

You cant all stay with me as I have only one bedroom, but as my abode is a summer beach house it's on stilts !! you can all sleep underneath. at least you would have a roof over your head ..LOL , if a hurricane should strike the ocean it would go through the wooden stilts and you could all go swimming maybe for your dear life...suitcases and all !! LOL

Now the choice is yours ,or a Motel up the road that has its own swimming pool !!

Now would you believe it , I have bought some Christmas decorations.....now why did I buy Christmas Decs ?, because I had to buy something its not possible for me to go window shopping.

Stephen....I fit all of Pamela Anderson attire the only difference is I have more experience than her and mines ALL real ..LOL

Dermot I read about the Reindeer's being sold in Lidl whatever next . Kangaroo in the summer I guess .

Marilyn,

Experience comes with age.......you can't have much experience.

PS ......What was Hubbys other job ?

Stephen2009

Stephen2009 Report 15 Nov 2010 21:58

Marilyn,

One bedroom !!!!!

That'll do nicely.....we could all cozy up close.....spread over the floor....under the bed.....in the wardrobe.....in the bath.....settee....chairs......roof space......

We'll manage.

Stephen
I always send post cards to the guys in Afganistan I sent twenty last year while I was on holiday. In the June I sent ten I brought in London all views. I had some nice letters from their Co thanking me.

But I will send Lee a Calender he will be able to cross off the days till he is home again.

I looked out of my window just now and it is thick fog it really smells cold and you can smell the fog. I wonder if the person taking me tmorrow will turn up in this ?

Thank you Jean for your kind words. I always worry before I go to the hospital but you have to face these things.

Is there any good new about ? I was watching the TV news and it is nothing but doom and gloom. how depressing is that. ?
I thought we are doing a backward turn heading backwards to the Victorian times it is like being in a time machine forward and backwards,.

I had a letter today telling me I had my heating allowance cheque being sent to my bank within the next three weeks. also that husbands and wives will not always get their cheques at the same time. so I suppose our Queen and The Prince Regent will be up- set about that. two cheqes going to the palace at different times . I wonder if it goes to their own bank accounts.with their pensions.

I had a little bit of good news Rita - took my son to get his eyes tested and was told they're very healthy............one less thing to worry about.

I had to take him for his review as well and that was very strange. We had to go into a small room with no windows, but it was bright and colourful. The strange thing was that all the walls were plastered with photos of my son, I felt like I'd walked into a stalker's bedroom. Apparently it's some new idea to make him feel special while he's being reviewed. Seemed to work, he had a big grin on his face!!

Marilyn, I'm getting the feeling you don't want us over there with you. Stephen's trying very hard to fit us in but you aren't helping, I'm sure you could find room for us.

Hope it goes OK for you tomorrow Rita.
