Evening all, Just got back from the vets with Toby ,he got the all clear ,everything all nicely healed ,i thought the vet was a bit rough with him ,poor Toby didn't want to get out of the car we had to pull him out ,he did walk into the vets and he laid down ,but when it was his turn to go in he wasn't so keen !! The vet had a job to get him to lay down so he could see his bottom and he got a bit cross with us !!! said will you hold your dog ,i need to look at him ,but with Toby wriggling he was a job to hold him down !!
Sheila , i should think when you go out with Beryl you never know what she's going to come out with !! Burgers !!! LOLOL

Amanda vets can be a bit annoying sometimes.I took Jasper one day and the vet muzzled him and he hated it and I was not pleased and when he put Jasper down he threw him down on the floor and the poor dog yelped and when we got home Jasper ran under the chair and would not come out. Now when we go Jasper does a wee I do not know if he is scared or just showing he does not like it there. I think Beryl thought she was being funny My daughter thought it very funny and it was in a way but not at that time. Glad Toby is mending nicely bless him.

Anyway it was not important I have just had a big black and white bird tapping away on the lounge window he was going along the window sill about five times pecking at the window. I think it might have been a magpie do not know it was a good job the coffee did not go into my keyboard my son would not have been pleased being his computer. Why do men always say I have done your washing up

MacDonalds, That the best one I've heard for ages.I had a good belly laugh over it. That Beryl, sounds a real laugh to be with, even though an enbaressment.!!!!!
One of my old customers was a captain on an Oil Tanker. His wife would often go away with him. He said the ship was so large it would take over a mile to stop it.!!!! The No. plate on his car was FOG 1. very apt.
Had a real down pour a couple of hours ago. Puddles all down the gutters in the road.
Our little conservatory hasn't had the roof cleaned in 13 years. So I decided to do it this afternoon. What a job climbing up the steps, and reaching up over the roof to wash it. My body aches like Hel# Had a shower and in dressing gown now.
Did anyone see the evening News about that fish 68 lbs. They are going to give it a send off, with a plaque to remember it. Some people.!!!!

Just going to look Mel had to go and help hubby shower and into bed he is much better tonight .Glad the Mc,Donalds story amused Frank. Everyone thinks it is funny and I can laugh now could have killed her at the time it was the faces on those men. My husband laughed he said he needed cheering up. Beryl either cheers you up or drives you mad but she is funny.I wish I could be like her. nite everybody sleep well

Morning All, I was still having a chuckle about MacDonalds and Beryl this morning, even OH cracked a smile lol I had a strange night dream wise.I won't go into the first one as it was crazy and I wouldn't know where to begin. The next one which was the one I was having when I woke this morning ,was I was in a hospital, dishing up meals to a ward full of patients. One of the patients was Gordon Ramsey.I had run out of food and was trying to get hold of the kitchen, but when I rang through it was to a hotel .I was so cross and by now these people had been waiting hours. In the end I went out and bought all 11 of them KFC,including Gordon Ramsey lol
Not sure how the weather will pan out today. It looks ok now and is really warm.I think I will get the dogs bedding washed as the lounge was a bit doggie smelling ,and I can't stand that.

Morning all Not been outside yet but it's cloudy here don't think it will be cold. going to tidy up my front bedroom this morning it's where I am now at the computer and where I keep all my family history papers. I have so many loose papers with infomation on I really must find a better solution I start well writing in a note book with info for each family but some how the papers end up all over the place.
after visiting dad this afternoon I'm of to the shops to get myself some comfortable joggy trousers for when I start my back class in a few weeks time. nothing too expensive expect there will be a lot of exercises done on mats on the floor.

Morning All,
There is rain in the air here this morning and it's dull with grey skies.
Jane I can find two weddings for a Thomas Cole and an Ann but they are not in Burrington. One is in Ashreigney 1784 and the other is in Paignton 1782. This one is extracted so can be relied on but the other one is a recorded one which could be wrong.
THOS. COLE Pedigree Male Family Event(s):
Marriages: Spouse: ANN JORDAIN Family Marriage: 15 OCT 1782 Paignton, Devon, England
Messages: Extracted marriage record for locality listed in the record. --------------------------------------------------------
THOMAS COLE Pedigree Male Family Event(s): Birth: Christening: 22 AUG 1762 Ashreigney, Devon, England Death: 27 JAN 1825
Parents: Father: SAMUEL COLE Family Mother: ELIZABETH PUDDICOMBE
Marriages: Spouse: ANN HARRIS Family Marriage: 18 JUL 1784 Ashreigney, Devon, England Messages: Record submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS Church. No additional information is available.
Now I may have lived here in Devon for 20 years but I am not sure which one if either would be near to Burrington!!!!! Shall have to have a look on the map!! and it could still be neither! I was gpoing by the Christenings I sent you and I think their first child was born in 1787.

Morning All,
Dull but dry here. I am the same Fiona! I have so many cheap notepads on the go with bits of FH in them and lots of papers over the surfaces. lol Yesterday we cleared out our little office where the computer is and swapped bookcases. We each have one, but OH stacks stuff in front of mine so I can't get to it, so I told him he could have mine instead!! lol Well, the floor is quite clear now as we have tended to dump things without a home in there. Two bags for the charity shop and the paper bin is full of old magazines and brochures I'd kept. The tops are pretty clear too. Now I have to go through all my notebooks and papers and make sure I have all the info on my tree before I chuck anything away. Then I need to rewrite all the 'might be connected' info into ONE notebook. lol
That fish was a real whopper wasn't it.
We have just been looking for a new kitchen light fitting at B*Q. After we looked for ages OH said he liked the old one!!! I have to get up on the stool and look at it.......sure it has rust on it at the top!!
Frank, that is not an easy job.......you do seem to like taking risks!! lol
