Morning All
Well What a awful afternoon I had yesterday , about 1.00pm I got this horrendous pain under my ribs and between my shoulder blades. went on for a long time, had to tell all the family not to come down for dinner, about 5.30 I phoned the NHS line and they made an appointment for me to go up to the local hospital at 7.30pm to see an out of hours doctor who after listening to my symptoms, and examining me , agreed that it is the Gallbladder that was causing me so much pain, so I now have an appointment to see my own GP this afternoon, and am phoning up the consultant at the private hospital to get an eairler appiontment to talk over deatails about the Gallbladder. Well hopefully it can be sorted and I can get the rotten thing out and and I can get some relief.

Morning All Oh Fiona. You have been saying for a while now you think it the Gall Bladder.I think the telling thing is the pain between your shoulder blades.I remember my sister having that before she had the GB out.Lets hope they can get you in and get it removed asap for your sake.Good luck this afternoon.
Chester has made it quite clear he did not want to go walkies this morning. We just got to the beginning of the lane and he wouldn't go any further.I think his legs are hurting. So he can have an easy day today.
It is cloudy at the moment and thankfully just a tad cooler. Lots and lots of ironing to get done this morning :-S

Morning All,
Haveing trouble getting to the last page of this thread so posting to get there so I can read yesterdays posts.
Thanks for the pics Pat and Ann and Jane.
We went to the harvest festival yesteray and the supper afterwards. It was really lovely food laid on by a friend of ours who is a smashing cook and does lots for the community. We had two big slices of ham (oh had three) and homety pie which I have never had before. I asked Pat for the recipe. The pastry just melted in your mouth. There was french bread and plenty of salad stuffs and egg mayonese (sp) with fruit crumbles to follow with custard or clotted cream. Guess which I had?? yes of course I had the cream.....mmmmmmmmmm also cider or apple juice to drink. No tea or coffees served.
Had to walk back to the house in the dark and it was so black I had to hang on to OH as I could'nt see a thing!! Then I took my glasses of and it was much better. As we came into the garden through the archway it seemed much lighter and there were my solar lights shining away by the back door. We had'nt meant to stay to the supper so had'nt left any lights on. Then had to shut all the chickens and bantams in.
We did'nt take the car as we thought there would'nt be a place to park. We could have!!

Fiona I thought all along it was the gall bladder. I do hope they can whip it out quickly for you and you will feel much better and get back to eating normally again.
Still haveing trouble withthis sight. My cursor won't go on the page easily now and the words are not appearing as I type sometimes.
Welcome home to England Anne, you take it easy for a bit to get back into our time line and get rid of the jet lag.
Ir's another nice day here today but there is a breeze which makes it a little cooler.
It is also shopping day and my poor little feet are feeling quite achey today after walking sown the church and back yesterday evening. I did have a little heel on the boots I wore!
OH is digging out the tree stumps from the bank they were planted on. He said there is no stone in the soil he is digging away!! That is very unusual from this garden. He thought they may have been a bit smaller than the ones he took out before but has found they are still quite large.
By the way we did'nt take the marrow to Harvest as we walked!!
Frank I remember going over the fence at the Lido at night on a summers evening with the gang. The water was so warm in the evenings after a lovely day. My dad used to take me there on a Sunday morning when I was small to teach me to swim. I can remember having my rubber ring round my waist. It was blue one side and white the other. Don't think there was arm bands around then. Must have been about 17 when we went with the gang. That was when I went out with a John Smith. Once we went to Southend in my dads builders van and were stopped by a policeman and he asked for his name and when John said "John Smith" he said come on son don't give me that!! I seem to remember he had to hand in his licience to his local police Station to prove it the next day.

Skonen with Condad this morning they spent Friday at the SAVOY HOTEL in London for a business meeting, with the developers in the Carribean. Allright for some :-) :-) :-)
Fiona, Lets hope you can get in and get this lot sorted once and for all, You can't keep putting up with all this discomfort. It must drag you down.
Jane, leave poor old Chester where he is, I am sure he can get his excerise in the garden.
What are you all upto today. Me thinks, it's a day of doing nothing. Let my limbs get back to normal. Ros is also in a lot of pain today. These patches, and new pain killers don't seem to be doing any good.
Pat, That photo of the Robin, is good enough to enter into a local paper competition, many professional photographers would be glad to get one like that. It's beautiful

Hello everyone,
Shocking day for me pain and nausea. They are thinking now acute pancreatitis, so I have to hang out until next Monday for this specialist.
Thanks everyone for the photos I did enjoy them before the s**t really hit the fan. Fiona get the damn thing out, my pain in that region did improve when I had my gallbladder out via keyhole surgery. Didn't fix my CFS and the continuing health problems, but it did stop that pain and I was able to eat more of what I liked. If I remember correctly I was also having reflux at that time, but they wouldn't remove it until I saw a surgeon and he said lets whip it out. By this stage the stones were blocking the bile duct and my eyes had turned a slight yellow. I do wish you well with it all and hope it comes to an pleasing end very soon. Yes and my pain was under the ribs too.
Sorry no more for me. Hope everyone is well. Maureen glad you liked the email about the frog - it tickled my fancy too, lol.

Hi everyone and thanks for the welcome home messages. Sounds as though everyone is still suffering in some way or another, must be to do with age. I have been to have my Doplar test at the Drs and will need to wear these horrible stockings all the time. Trouble is my legs are now much better but guess I will give then a try. The jet lag is now wearing off and both hubby and I had a better nights sleep last night. The weather is much better today and the last of the holiday washing is out on the line. I have done one lot of ironing so far today but can see another waiting for me ugh. What can I tell you about my hols Las Vegas was whacky, Zion and Bryce canyons were fabulous, the Grand Canyon was huge and the San Pedro valley was very hot with rattlesnakes and tarantulas but quite the most wonderful place to stay. I will download some photos for you all to see.
Fiona My neighbour had her gall bladder removed earlier this year and is now feeling much better so hope you can have it done quickly. She had it done at the day hospital but guess they will want to keep you in overnight if you are having it done privately. Thankfully have not put too much weight on whilst on holiday so must work hard to get it off again before the winter. :-) :-)

My TV sk* controls doesn't seem to be working.I have changed the batteries but nothing. It is stuck on one channel and even if I turn the tv off and on again it goes straight back to that channel.Any ideas anyone.Do I need new controls? I better go and see if I can find the Sk* details in the filing cabinet :-|

Good job you have had your jabs. They do Flu Jab Clinics on Saturday at Chris's Surgery.I think he said last sat there were about 600 people!!! Now I will expect our flu vaccine to be in our fridge soon.I will do Chris's and he will do mine ,but not in the arm.The BTM has more flesh(well in my case it does lol)
Mandy a Sk* engineer is coming out on Friday and replace the box with a new one .We will then be able to record things :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D.It sounds like a signal problem between the 'box'and controls. But I can change channels by the button on the box.(I didn't even know I could do that lol)
I feel it is hotter today than yesterday.I now have 2 big fans blasting away here in the lounge. The wind picked up big time earlier and I had to call James to come and help me take the canopy off the Gazebo again. It was ready to go :-S I knew you would be in your undies Frank ;-)

Back from shopping and as I went out in sunshine along the road it was dull and dreary and mistyh grey skies. Stayed like that and there was rain hanging in the air on the way home.
Before I went out oh had an accident with the diesel can and came to me asking for an old towel. When I went out with one he had tripped with the deisel can and it had splashed all over his head and down his front and over his wellies. Packed him off to the shower quickly, chucked his clothes in the washer and got out clean ones for him. Clothes out the washer on the line still smell of the blimmin stuff!! :-|

David.I can't believe it is 9 weeks since you moved in.I bet you can't wait now to get the kitchen done and then you should be back to normal.
I wonder how Fiona has got on this afternoon at the GP.
SNOW! Mandy ,not here surely :-S :-S.Chris and I were talking the other day about buying some of those ice gripper things that clip on the bottom of shoes and thinking it might be worth investing in some.If this winter is like last then they will come in handy. There do seem to be lots of red berries on the hollys.
I spotted a Pheasant in next door this morning and it was a beauty. It looked almost Black.I have never seen one as dark as that.I have a horrible feeling that the Pheasant shooting time is here :-S

Evening All,
Have EM you Pat's pic Mel. Yes, what is Homety Pie??? Sounds nice as does the crumble and cream! You should have taken your torch with you......can imagine it would be pitch black where you are.
Hope your ears are painfree now David.
Mandy, I bet Frank puts his 'SUPERMAN' pants on for going up the tree!!! lol
What a horrid afternoon you had Fiona, hope you get on well at the docs tonight and that they get things moving for you.......sooner the better!!
Thanks for your photo Frank, your border looks good and healthy with all the work you and Ros put in. That is a nice Yucca you have with the flower spike coming. Thanks too for your e-card, it was really lovely.
Poor Chester, sounds like the spirit was willing, but legs not up to it today!!
Anne, I would hate those snakes more than the spiders!! Look forward to any pics you send.
Had my blood test this morning and flu jabs are friday. Couldn't get my prescription as no Pharmacist had turned up and they were waiting for another to come......wouldn't even let us in the shop. I decided to nip to Hinckley then as there is a shop there that sells craft stuff and beads! I always try to park on the ends of rows in carparks as my doors don't have much protection. There were hardly any spaces today so I parked between other cars but in the middle of my space. When I came back a car was parked right close on the line on my driver's side so I couldn't open my door enough to get in!!!! Even slimmer OH wouldn't have squeezed through the gap! Being a 2 door car the doors are longer and need a bit more room to open anyway. I ended up sitting in the passenger seat for 20 minutes as with a low roof I decided it was not worth the effort in the heat to try and climb over the gearstick. :-S :-S A lady about my age came and moved it then........oblivious to any problem she had caused.

Jane, i didn't know you could change channels with the button on the box !!
I'am going to have a flu jab this year ,don't want to end up in hospital again , hubby had his done in Tes*o's , do you have to be 65 to have them done at the doctors ? Those gripper things for the snow sound a good idea , we did have a look for some last year but they had all sold out ,so maybe now is the time to buy, plus if we get a lot of snow they'll put the price up !!!
Frank, have now got two more photo's of your tree , are you taking it all down?
I carn't believe its 9 weeks since you moved in David , you've done a lot of work on the bungalow ,so you should be all straight before Christmas .
