I saw him in a James Bond recently, and I quite liked him. Roger Moore was a bit flabby in the last one I saw with him. To be a heartthrob/hero, you have to be toned, I think. You could never beat Bob Mitchum for me.

Don't leave us with a one liner !

Please do tell us your views, as Rose says I'm sure they would be interesting , and a male perspective on male or female celebs would lead to a fairer discussion:)

Not forgetting that Bob and Merlin have added:))☺☺

I've seen Daniel Craig in two James Bond films. However, to judge someone on their acting ability you need to see them in a variety of roles.

I agree entirely with Maggie especially more so if they have their socks on they look ridiculous - present OH excepted!!!!!!!

Please do Russell ( or is it Peter?) . I'm sure it would be riveting :) I don't doubt that Mr Craig is a very nice man, with a wonderful personality...which is always far more important of course than whether I find his body shape 'exciting' l I don't class him as a "celebrity", he's an actor, I can't particularly comment on his acting ability though as I haven't seen him in anything as far as I remember.

Seeing your ref to Scott Walker made me do a bit of googling.
My mum has always been a big fan of his and I was dragged along to see the Walker Brothers when I was 7 ticket price was 12/6d supporting act was The Small Faces, wonder what that amounts to in todays money? this was 1965

'Tis in the eye of the beholder, ladies

there was a tale of a zebra that died and went to heaven, and meeting St Peter, said "I have often wondered whether I am white with black stripes , or black with white, do you know?"
St Peter said, "Sorry I dont know but If you ask the guvnor, come back and tell me,what he says, I'd like to know....."

the zebra returns with a puzzled look on his face and says,"I really didnt understand his answer..
He said" You are what you are!!"

"well there you go then" said Peter "you are white with black stripes".........still puzzled the zebra says" how come?

"well if you was black with whites stripes he would have said " Yo' izz what yo' izz!!"

The best bit of the film is probably this song Jacques Brel, sung by Scott Walker

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqwp6jYa7zM&feature=fvw

Sons of the thief, sons of the saint
Who is the child with no complaint
Sons of the great or sons unknown
All were children like your own
The same sweet smiles, the same sad tears
The cries at night, the nightmare fears
Sons of the great or sons unknown
All were children like your own...
So long ago: long, long, ago...
But sons of tycoons or sons of the farms
All of the children ran from your arms
Through fields of gold, through fields of ruin
All of the children vanished too soon
In tow'ring waves, in walls of flesh
Among dying birds trembling with death
Sons of tycoons or sons of the farms
All of the children ran from your arms...
So long ago: long, long, ago...
But sons of your sons or sons passing by
Children we lost in lullabies
Sons of true love or sons of regret
All of the sons you cannot forget
Some built the roads, some wrote the poems
Some went to war, some never came home
Sons of your sons or sons passing by
Children we lost in lullabies...
So long ago: long, long, ago
But, sons of the thief, sons of the saint
Who is the child with no complaint
Sons of the great or sons unknown
All were children like your own
The same sweet smiles, the same sad tears
The cries at night, the nightmare fears
Sons of the great or sons unknown
All were children like your own...
Like your own, like your own
