It could well be that they have spelt "age" wrong.

if the writing isnt too good and depending year of census it may stand for.

someone being --- Adopted,,,,,,with the family.....

Step--------child. son, dau,,.grand child . is also used,,,,

Julie at the bottom of this page is "Add Your Reply", slightly to the right of that and underneath is word "Post" with quite a large box to right of it.

Put your cursor in the box, left click and then key in your reply.

At the bottom of page are 2 boxes "Preview" and "Submit" . Single left click on the "Submit" box and your reply will disappear and will then appear on the thread.
