I've had to re-read this 'cos I thought you'd written that 1.362 m threads was almost the same as the number of members. And you had.

I can see that I transposed the figures that Kense wrote but I still don't know who's right cos I still don't understand how 1.362 m is almost 13.623 m as you first posted.

Factor on multiple registrations Mr M and that will lower the membership.
I have three, only one active, and have often noticed what seems to be several entries of the same name by one person. I think between 200,000 and 500,000 at least could be lopped of the 13 mill.

Multiple registrations. :-S Why?

Multiple participations/multiple entries I can understand but doesn't multiple registrations mean one uses more than one name? Do you swap from one to the other when you have upset people or when people have upset you. I am really puzzled by it.

I was responding to your first line Joy, then as I was about to post (I need to look at the keyboard as I type) saw the comment about swapping from one account to another. If you'd read my 18.06 post before jumping to conclusions you would have understood.

Still can't understand why but each to his own is what I think.

It's not difficult Joy.

I had three separate trees on here - different families. At that time we could have

more than one tree under the same email. Multiple trees are still allowed but each

has to be registered with a different email. A member can do the whole village if

they so please but would need a different account and email for each one.

I am not so rich/generous/foolish that I would want to swell GRs coffers by paying

for three accounts. I only need/use one subbed account to post on the boards and

contact others.

Have you never seen a post asking how to set up another tree?
