Our local Sainsburys always announces over the tannoy and pauses everything at 11 am on 11 November.

I have already lost my poppy that I bought on Tuesday so I shall have to buy one again.

Sylvia, our local church had a special ceremony for All Souls’ Day.

I once sat in my car in a car park as it was just 11o’clock. Don’t think it went down well with someone searching for a parking spot.

Anyone seen Southend Pier? They have decorated the length of it with knitted and crochet poppies. Blooming Brilliant <3 <3

Our town and some surrounding villages have big poppies on lamp posts.

Thousands of poppies fall silently from the central tower of our cathedral at the end of its Festival of Remembrance.
