I'll be honest Belle.
I didn't... but daughter has cooked all the veg and we just have to whizz it now with the blender.
I was going to do that and have some for tea, but decided to have a cheese sandwich instead. Haven't started on our own Christmas cheeses yet, as we've been eating the ones brought back from son's.
Our lovely neighbours gave us some too, together with other Christmas goodies.

I think the cheeses at Christmas always look so appetizing but I always have to hold back as I'd never eat them all......D loved cheese, the smellier the better :-D :-D

I love cheese, but usually ration myself, as I know too much is not good for cholesterol levels.
My last blood test was all good, so I want to keep it that way ;-)

I find the blue cheeses too salty.

Yesterday our Sainsbury's were selling off blue Stilton really cheap.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 3 Jan 2026 19:58

D loved Stilton.....I made him put it in a plastic container but it still stunk :-D :-D

I'm lucky.
My test was before Christmas and I try to be extra good leading up to my yearly review.
Mind you, the NHS must have had a fair drop of my blood during 2025 with all the visits I had to A&E and outpatients :-0
