mine wqas called 'walk softly on the bridges' by kathy kay, which i bought 30 yrs ago and still have....some beautiful songs on it.

Gwen got two Beatles Lps here that were my uncles and he gave a load of stuff to dad to have or throw so we went through them and they are two hubbypicked out

cant recall exactly which one was first, but it would most likely to have been one of the shadow's, or buddy holly... around 1961....... memory cells are clogging up...... Bob

Paul Young, in the 80's, didn't buy many LP's,couldn't afford to. Bought singles instead, still got them all lol

Mine was Rubber Soul - the Beatles - could only afford the ep's with my pocket money up until then. Still got them all and still in perfect condition. Lynda x

When I was about 10 - 12 I bought an LPs for 2/6 and a single. The single was The Springfields 'Island of Dreams' that I kept hearing on the radio and the other was Shangri-Las 'Leader of the Pack' and I liked the cover. I still have both and they started my collection of several hundred singles and LPs. That's it, I'm off singing! Jacky :-)

My Dad bought 'me' my first LP --Nat King Cole,when I fall in love etc. I was not a happy bunny then ,but wished I had kept it-what a voice that man had .
