hi gail I felt like an outsider but the fact is i am one of the silent readers, i dont add a lot to the threads i just read them and enjoy the jokes etc, they are a good bunch on here they wont leave you out intentionally. jackie.

Welcome Gail, I think many of us on here has felt like we are intruding on here at times, I know I certainly did but how wrong I was. My best advice is to post to any thread that interests you, the more you post the more we get to know you and vice versa. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Jackiexx

Hi Gail, welcome to the mad house. We were all nervous posters to begin with but gradually you get the confidence to add something or if there is something you want to know, you can start your own thread. I think my first one was to find out about memory foam mattresses etc when we needed a new bed, my heading was - help, the bed is broken and I got some funny replies that broke the ice! Have to warn you tho that you are likely to get addicted, and your house will start to look a bit neglected, clothes will be unironed and tv dinners will become the norm! Only joking, enjoy your visits to these boards. Liz

Hiya Gail and Everyone, Just thought I would intrude on this thread as a way of saying hello ! I have been a member for two subscriptions now and wouldn't be without you lot. Somedays I want to join in and others I just want to read and have a good old giggle. When I first joined there was a thread called 'help i'm addicted !' Read that one night......husband caught me laughing uncontrollably and thought I had lost it ! Had to stay off the pc for a few days to convince him I could do without it. Me ? Addicted ? Never ! Now, where was I ? Oh yes, should be stripping the wallpaper ready for repapering................thinking of a family tree mural (hee hee). Best wishes to all of you x
