Hi Everyone First of all I would like to say a special Thank You to all of you who contacted me and those who kept me in their prayers and sent me positive thoughts. You Know who you are. Some of you will know that on Christmas Eve a growth was discovered in my throat. Since that time I have lived in fear of the outcome of this. You came together and sent me many messages of comforting thoughts and prayers, something I will always be very grateful for. These past weeks have been both a blur and a nightmare at times and you helped to hold me together. I also know that some of you are either having similar troubles and or are going through things a lot worse then me. You are truely remarkable brave people who I admire and hold with deep respect. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. In my own case the good news is that the consultant does not think that the growth is malignant I had cameras put up my nose and throat yesterday, scans and X Rays done of my chest etc The consultant says that this growth is between my tonsils and voice box and does need to be removed as soon as possible, a biopsy will be carried out once removed but he is pretty sure that there is no sign of it being malignant. I have been asked to go in at short notice so awaiting a call if a cancellation comes in or as soon as the op can be carried out. I feel a whole lot happier now with what the consultant has said Bless You & Thank You Colin |

Sending you caring, happy and positive thoughts at this very worrying time When you get good news after you expect bad, everything in the garden looks beautiful. You actually stop and look at those things you often take for granted. Elaine x |
