she has had a bad day at college, she is finding the coursework very hard, and has had a tutor have a go at her today and she has come in a cried, we wont let it beat her, so ive told her i will help her as much as we can and liase with the college. Just hate to see her upset, she tries so hard but has always found school work difficult, love you grace dont fret love you will get there in the end xxLynnxx

Lynn, I hope she can manage to get through college. I am having the same problem with my daughter. She is doing English A level with a teacher who can't speak very good English and teaches from a book all the time. Only time he was ok was when he was being observed. grace is doing haidressing NVQ level 2 and there is so much paper work and assignments, thats without learning what to do with the hair, and she is struggling, but she is a little fighter like her mum, we will get her through it just seems unfair that a tutor should be so harsh when she tries her hardest and they know that, xxLynnxx

I will gladly give your daughter a big ((((((hug))))). Iam fortunate in that I also have a tutor, who is helping me achieve an SVQ level 3, in child care.Luckily ,my tutor, is great, and a tutor can make a big difference in how that students cope with their course work. I am a 48 year old gran, incidentally.

Lynn, I know it must be so hard for you too to see her so upset. My daughter Terri has learning difficulties, has ever since she started school. She desided to go on to college after High School and I couldn't be more proud of her for trying to better herself, she tries SO hard. There have been more than one day she has come home crying and it brakes my heart to see her like that, my OH is very good and helps her as he's the one with the uni degree. BIG ((((HUGS)))) for you Grace, it'll all be worth it in the end. And ((((Hugs)))) for mum too because if you feel like I do when my daughter gets upset you also need one. Fiona. x

thank you all it just breaks our hearts when we see our kiddies upset doesnt it Grace will be fine, shes had her bacon butties (comfort food) and we have had a huge cuddly hour on thhe sofa, and we ended up laughing, she says to say thanks to everyone xxLynnxx
